Project Background and Goals

Hart of Buffalo FKA Pasteurized Tees is an apparel shop that was first established in 2011 and coins itself as Buffalo’s best apparel printing shop. They specialize in selling Buffalo-themed clothing and accessories, offering over 120 Buffalo-themed designs. They also offer customized printing services, screen printing, embroidery, low to no art fees, and same-day printing. Hart of Buffalo/Pasteurized Tees is a business that has been a staple in the local community since they were first established and they are proud to be printed and manufactured right here in Buffalo, New York.

The business is located at 793 Elmwood Avenue in the heart of Buffalo’s Elmwood Village, just right next door to their former location at 795 Elmwood Avenue. Around 2022 Pasteurized Tees made the move to their current location which allowed for twice as much floor space than their previous location. The current space needed a 30-year update before they moved in, including redoing and updating the exterior. With the increased space they are now able to carry even more variety of apparel and hat styles, as well as new Buffalo themed gifts, limited edition Buffalo apparel and even customizable plush.

The business looks forward to contributing to the Elmwood Village through a collaboration with a local mural artist and a design that reflects the local community.

  • Seeking artists to submit proposals for an outdoor mural outside of the shop which welcomes all people to Buffalo and Buffalo’s Elmwood Village.
  • The proposed design should welcome all audiences, new and old, to Buffalo and/or the Elmwood Village, potentially including widely known and respected members of the local community; as well as c
