“This year’s Give for Greatness recipients are a testament to the strength and resilience of WNY arts,” said ASI Executive Director Jen Swan-Kilpatrick. “After the pandemic, many smaller nonprofit arts groups are still struggling but receiving an operating grant like this one can mean a foothold on the climb to rebuild.”
“We had the opportunity to move to Lockport this Spring and the Give for Greatness Grant with ASI helped us secure our new larger space,” said Melanie Yohe from WAHI Studio, a first-time Give for Greatness recipient. “We look forward to having additional districts and over 100 students come through our doors to create.”
The Give for Greatness program is funded by Fund for the Arts, Foxfire Festival and Duende at Silo City, Lawyers for the Arts, The Marilyn Gohr McTaggart Reveal Fund at the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, and The Rupp Family Foundation.
