Western New York arts groups were awarded $100,000 in new funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
The grants are among 260 awards totaling $7.5 million across New York and $27.7 million awarded to support 1,126 projects nationwide.
The majority of funds come through the NEA’s Art Works program, while others came through its Challenge America to reach underserved individuals, as well as awards through a special program in honor of the agency’s 50th Anniversary, called Imagine Your Parks.
