Area musicians and actors collaborate to present Curtain Up! Weekend concert to benefit Give for Greatness

Program features songs from popular musicals

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, in partnership with actors and organizations from the Buffalo theater community, will present “The Best of Broadway” at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at Kleinhans Music Hall, 3 Symphony Circle Buffalo. Event proceeds benefit Give for Greatness, a program of Arts Services Initiative of Western New York.

“The Best of Broadway” is a non-ticketed concert offering general admission seating for all patrons. Voluntary contributions will be collected starting at 6 p.m. in the Kleinhans Music Hall lobby. The program will feature the BPO and top regional theater actors performing songs from well-known musicals such as “Candide,” “Chicago” and “West Side Story.”
