Destiny Caceres’ journey with ASI began as a summer intern in May 2024, and her exceptional performance led us to invite her to stay on as a part-time team member as the Special Projects Coordinator. A recent graduate from Villa Maria, Destiny holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Integrated Arts, Creative Writing, and Literature. Her unique perspective as an emerging artist enriches our team. Most recently, her artistic contributions were featured in the Manazine Group Exhibition of Comic Artists at Revolution Gallery.

As the Special Projects Coordinator, Destiny will tackle short to mid-term projects that extend beyond ASI’s current capacity. Her responsibilities will include assisting with public calls for art, planning programs and events, coordinating DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility) initiatives, contributing to cultural plan projects, and seizing other strategic opportunities as assigned.

Destiny, a native Buffalonian, is passionate about family, drawing, creative writing, and playing video games. What sets her apart are her natural collaboration skills—she approaches every task with a smile. Eager to learn more about Buffalo’s art scene and discover opportunities for creatives, Destiny brings enthusiasm and fresh ideas to our team.
