If you’re a creative wizard in need of a fiscal sponsor, look no further than ASI—the gateway to funding your dreams! The New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) has recently announced their FY2025 Funding Guidelines which include a round of funding for individual artists of various disciplines. Individual Artists can apply for $10,000 in project support with an eligible fiscal sponsor. (Hint: ASI can be your Fiscal Sponsor!)

- Choreography Commissions
- Composer Compositions
- Film, Media, and New Technology
- Folk and Traditional Arts
- Interdisciplinary
- Literature
- Theater Commissions
- Visual Arts
As your fiscal sponsor, ASI plays a significant role in your grant application process. Not only will we submit your completed application to NYSCA’s grant portal, but we’ll be your helping hand in preparing follow-up reports once your project reaches its completion stage. Our status as an arts service organization gives us an edge, as we’re well-acquainted with NYSCA’s grant process and timelines. This allows us to ensure that your application is submitted promptly and in accordance with the deadlines outlined below.
Important Deadlines:
- Before July 2nd: Read the “Support for Artists” Guidelines to see if your project is eligible AND complete the intake form below as a means to schedule a ‘pre-application meeting’ with an ASI staff member to discuss your application.
- July 10th: All grant materials are due to ASI. This is a hard deadline – ASI must then review and upload all materials to the grant portal on your behalf.
Upon completing the aforementioned form, you will receive a confirmation email which will detail how to schedule a meeting with ASI. Please note, you MUST complete a meeting with an ASI team member before June 28th to use ASI as your Fiscal Sponsor.
