Olivia (Liv) Duke joined ASI as the Programs & Services Coordinator in January 2024. In this role, she manages and maintains the Arts Access Program, which offers free to low-cost arts opportunities to families and individuals receiving income-based assistance. She also assists with ASI’s professional development programs and resources for artists and the arts sector, such as events, seminars, training sessions, and public art projects.
Liv has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations with a minor in Arts Administration from Suffolk University, where she studied abroad at the Madrid Campus and served as an Arts and Culture Ambassador. She has extensive experience in customer service, event planning, social media, and arts education. She previously worked as a School Program Specialist and a Part-Time Studio Administrator at the Boston Ballet, where she provided essential support to the daily operations, administration, and customer service for its educational programming. She also developed and managed school programming to maintain a positive culture and increase retention among students and families. The strong personal relationships that she built with students and families at the Boston Ballet inspired her to take this role at ASI – an opportunity to foster relationship within the Western New York Community.
Liv is passionate about the arts and ASI’s mission to empower the region’s artists and arts organizations. She has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a creative and innovative mindset. She is adept at designing and implementing successful programs from inception to completion, and solving problems with efficiency and professionalism. She is a valuable member of the ASI team and a great asset to the arts community.
