Please join us in congratulating ASI’s Executive Director, Jen Swan-Kilpatrick, on her recent appointment to vice president of Arts NYS. Jen has been a dedicated board member at Arts NYS since 2019 and her duties as vice president are effective as of this past October.
In this role as vice president, Jen will have the opportunity to amplify the advocacy work she spearheads at ASI for the Western New York region to a statewide level. Items such as advocating for greater allocation of funding to the arts, heightening awareness of the impact of the arts on education, health and economic development, and increasing visibility of the WNY arts community are on the agenda.
ASI also congratulates Elizabeth Reiss (CEO, Arts Center of the Capital Region) on her appointment to president, Diego Segalini (executive director, finance and administration, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council) as treasurer, and Viviani Bianchi (executive director, Bronx Arts Council) as secretary. Heartfelt congratulations and well wishes for Janet Langsam (CEO, Arts Westchester) and Stephen Butler (executive director, CNY Arts) for their role as former co-chairs; and Marc Courtade (executive director, Huntington Arts Council) for his role as former treasurer.
